Lockerz

Quickly shaping up to be one of the best sites on Earth to get free stuff, Lockerz is now in it’s beta phase, willing and able to give away a lot of high priced electronics to users, simply for logging in, referring people, and answering questions. It’s a bit like Rewards Central, and other websites that give away free things, except, it’s a lot easier and quicker to get points. Also, the website will remain free, although there will be parts of the site that feature premium content.
The website is funded through Liberty Media, assuredly, it’s quite reliable and legitimate. There is international support as well, which is also a bonus. Not many features are available right now, due to it’s beta status, and the only actions to gain points are outlined above, logging in, answering daily questions, and referring friends. When the full version is released this Fall, it’s expected to have many more features, as well as a dedicated market place, where Lockerz will make the bulk of it’s income from. Supposedly, a percentage of it’s income will be generated through products placed for sale, and possibly, ads within the video streaming service.
Unfortunately, Lockerz is still in it’s beta stage, and one can only be invited into the beta event. If you want an invite, simply just post a request to “FeedMyCloud@gmail.com” with the subject header being ‘Lockerz Invite’. Between the LiveCrunch staff in total, we have around 30 spare invites… So if you want to experience Lockerz today, be quick about it =)

- Reducing file size of images that have Instant Alpha applied
- Managing file size when inserting some movies
- Working with dates and durations in the Chart Data Editor in Keynote and Pages
- Exporting to CSV from Numbers when using table categories
Apple has also made improvements to iWork.com (online collaborative document hosting service). The highlights of the changes are: (according to Apple)
1. Protect Your Shared Documents With Passwords
Safeguard your shared documents on iWork.com by using a password. To add a password to your document, select the ‘Privacy’ box in the Publish window. Enter a unique password for the document. You can even use the OS X Password Assistant to help create a strong password. Remember to send the password to the intended viewer.
2. Stay Up To Date With Your Viewer’s Comments
Viewers invited to an iWork.com document can provide feedback by leaving comments and document notes. Comments can be made on specific text in a Pages document, cells in a Numbers sheet, and on a Keynote slide.
iWork.com lets you know when a viewer has left feedback by sending you an email notification every time a new comment or note is added. You can adjust how often you receive these notifications by selecting from options on your Shared Documents page. Choose from Immediate, Hourly, Daily or Never.
The most recent update to iWork.com makes it easy for you to share your documents with your viewers. With the new server-based email, invitations are sent directly from Apple’s servers. You don’t need to depend on your desktop email application to send email invitations anymore.
Also, when you add new viewers online on iWork.com, the server sends them invitations directly without you needing to send a URL.
What to Look for When Selecting a Company for Debt Settlement
When you have to choose the debt settlement as your last resort to solve your financial problems; you will be left with two options. The first option is to hire a professional company to assist you during the difficult times of debt settlement and the second option is to do all the work yourself. If you are going to choose the later one, then you will have to work really hard to get the things done smoothly. You may have to spends hours on studying the things and you may have to face a real tough time while negotiation with the creditors. Alternatively, if you have chosen a debt settlement company for your debt settlement program, you may not have to all this hard work and you will only have to pay the company for the work that they will be doing on your behalf.
The debt settlement companies work for money like the all other businesses so it becomes your responsibility to find a debt settlement company which will suit you best. You should know the pros and the cons of each such company before paying them for the services. Normally these companies will have records which will clearly tell you their past works and performance. It will help you to choose the best company for your situation. You would also like to have a look at the cost and the company policies in order to know the things much better. When you have selected a few companies to find the best one for you, you should ideally look these things before making any decision.
• Fee: You should look at the amount of money that the company will be taking from you in the shape of fee for their services. Various companies charge different fee in different methods. You should have a closer look at this because it’s the money that has been causing you the trouble. You should not go for a company which asks for escrow payments.
• The promises that the company makes: Look for the promises that the company is making. If they are promising unrealistic things, like most of the cheaper companies do, you should become very careful. If the company is making unrealistic promises that mean that they are not going to offer you good quality of service in fact. So be careful and do not only go for the cheapest services, but make sure you have the quality services as well.
• Sale tactics: Do have a look at the company sale tactics. The companies must not use your bad financial position to sell you the unnecessary services. If they are trying to do that, you should not choose such a company.
