Funny thing! Today I converted LC to Mobile for easy reading and navigation. I noticed in my Google Analytics there are visits from Opera/Android browser since October 12th! Now I wonder how did people get those, and who was it? And how come over 150 people visited LiveCrunch with G1 on October 16th?

I hope those 150 people were not just employees testing LiveCrunch lol.
I think Windows 7 is going to be a lot different from Vista, as I said in my previous post Windows 7 to Vista is like going from ME to W2K. Anyways found these 7 things you might not know about Windows 7 by Ina Fried from CNET
1. Mobile Broadband - W7 is going to show cellular modems as other connections in WiFi Net dialog.
2. WiFi for Idiots - W7 is going to now include link to agreement gateway page before you access the real net. I so hate seeing open wifi’s and then they ask you to register or pay $2-$4 in order to use it.
3.W7 Troubleshooting - I guess with windows 7 you will become an expert in fixing your own pc. They included more helpful troubleshooting process. Instead of asking if you wish to report problem to Windows Tech Support..
4.W7 Sensor - W7 will now also support multiple sensors, light, gps and other sensor crap…maybe even your iPhone sensor? lol.
5. Better Battery Life and DVD - Sweet! I guess now will be able to work on our pc’s/laptop longer then 2hours before your laptop/pc dies from power drainage.
6.Windows Media Center- That will get also improved.
7. Biometrick Framework - They will improve biometric support. Wow now maybe I could slide my dog’s paw too! . Oh btw did I tell you it works on Vista as well? Seriously!

Google is launching Video Chat for Gtalk (Gmail). Google Talk has been around for few years now and I can see potential now of using GTalk Video Chat feature. Might not be as pretty as Skype but hey! it’s free, fast and easy to navigate.

Now you can visit LiveCrunch with your cell phone without waiting for the whole page to load. I mobilized LiveCrunch because I noticed that many of you are checking LC from different mini browsers.
You don’t have to do anything!
Just visit LiveCrunch.com and you should have nice LC layout!
If you are currently not on your phone, see Live Demo how LiveCrunch looks on Cell Phones…

Since yesterday after the virus definition update AVG is deleting system file called user32.dll which actually causes either your PC go into continuous loop of rebooting or it just stops booting. AVG virus definition signature thinks that user32.dll is Trojan Horse PSW.Banker4.APSA or Generic9TBN.

This is how AVG responded:
Unfortunately, the previous virus database might have detected the
mentioned virus on legitimate files. We can confirm that it was a
false alarm. We have immediately released a new virus update
(270.9.0/1778) that removes the false positive detection on this file.
Please update your AVG and check your files again. The system can be restored by following the steps in one of the
comments on forum (using safe mode or recovery console and copying
c:\windows\system32\dllcache\user32.dll into the right location)If you need to restore deleted files from AVG Virus Vault you can do
it this way:
- Open AVG user interface.
- Choose “Virus Vault” option from the “History” menu.
- Locate the file that was incorrectly removed and select it (one
click).
- Click on the “Restore” button. We are sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your help.
Best regards,

As Saurik said Debian linux distribution does not replace Android OS on your G1 but gives you just more advantage to use Debian programs and thats what I call the beauty of Open Source. Thanks to Saurik he managed to install Debian ARMEL on G1 you can check his tutorial on how to do that from his website. I will try doing this very soon! I wonder if I would be able to do it on Android SDK…it must work right?

Today T-Mobile released new touch screen phone Samsung Behold T919 for $149 with 5mp camera. I wish I could have my G1 and Behold mixed up and call it Gehold. I love the fact that Behold has 5mp camera and can video record yet this phone is just another touch screen like most of them are now out and to be honest worth less.
My sources and prediction that T-Mobile Behold is going to be out by November 10th are now facts!

My 2nd favorite store is Circuit City and just this morning according to WJS they are filing for Bankruptcy protection. You would think that companies like that make tons of money (and they do) will never crash or get to the point of filing for bankruptcy well sometimes they have to . After $3.4 billion of assets and $2.3 billion of debts they sure need some money protection. I can see lots of layoffs soon!
So far they did close 20% of their stores acc. to AlleyInsider
Pres Obama and Mccain headquarters were attacked by Hackers. The hack “attempt” was originated from China but it does not mean that is the source. FBI is investigating because some stuff from Mccain’s office is missing. They also attempted to hack into White House pc’s but were unsuccessful, I guess because for past 8 years there is nothing on those PC’s except Call of Duty game?

We know iPhone has no Open Source OS nor T-Mobile G1 even though media say’s it is. Well how about Neo Phone with totally Open Source OS called Open Moko which is based on GNU/Linux (Otopia Distribution). I fall in love with this phone the minute I read “LINUX” and “Open Source”.

According to German Blog Shimanke (Google Translated) iPhone and Ipod Touch Firmware 2.2 pictures leaked. Good thing I speak 5 languages. It’s about time Apple releases 2.2 Firmware!

The news is out that Windows 7 release date is around xmas 2009 according to Engadget. This reminds me of year 2000 when Windows ME was released and just shortly after that the best OS that many tech people love W2K (Windows 2000) was released. For some reason I think Windows 7 is going to sell more then Vista and will have faster boot and less memory issues, but you know that’s just me, long loving Linux user
I just hope I won’t see those stupid Microsoft Ads.
