According to my source apple did not stop working on Iphone Ipod Touch 2.0 upgrade, they are already working on the new firmware release, I forgot to ask when is it due to come out and is it going to be 2.1? I talked to my source about text messages and why Iphone 2.0 upgrade did not fix text messaging in landscape mode. My source said that will be fixed in next release they are working on.

Well the good news is that there are already few bugs that apple is going to fix! Which I could not find out about from my source do to his security reasons.

I will keep you updated on the next release shortly.

PS: Don’t send messages asking who my source is, you don’t wanna know!

Told you Plurk is awesome! Anyways! thanks to CommunityMGR I found out there is an valid Iphone 2.0 Upgrade. You can download it now or wait till Apple releases, which is in my opinion better and secure option. Many Plurkers said the downloaded file does upgrade and it’s ok, they have noticed a lot of changes.

Yahoo just released cool thing for people that love to play with search engines called BOSS. Now you can build your own search engine!. Here is what they say BOSS is.

So what is BOSS?
BOSS is a new, open platform that offers programmatic access to the entire Yahoo! Search index via an API. BOSS allows developers to take advantage of Yahoo!’s production search infrastructure and technology, combine that with their own unique assets, and create their own search experiences. While search APIs have been available for some time, BOSS removes many of the usage restrictions that have prevented other companies from using them to build innovative new search engines.

It has been confirmed by Steve Jobs that the Apple App Store will launch with more than 500 applications Thursday night for the iPhone and iPod touch. 25% of the 500 will be free and 90% of those for sale will cost $9.99 or less. It is also said that a third of the first wave applications will be games.

It is clear to me that t-mobile is up to some big hit as apple iphone. I wouldn’t be surprised if T-Mobile get’s HTC Dream (Android) with 3G all over USA in October. Almost all carriers have touch screen phones and 3g network why not T-Mobile?
