Install Adobe Air on Ubuntu or Linux
Few instructions on how to install Adobe Air on Linux (Ubuntu) and Tweetdeck as well as Twhirl Twitter clients.
First you need to install Adobe Air from (here) , make sure the file ends with .bin extension.
Open terminal and navigate to the bin file you downloaded.
Type chmod +x AdobeAIRInstaller.bin (or filename.bin)
Type sudo ./AdobeAIRInstaller.bin (or filename.bin)

Jolicloud Netbook OS
Tariq Krim (former Netvibes CEO) will launch a Linux-based OS for Netbooks next year called Jolicloud.
Krim intends to provide Jolicloud as a download. Users can use JoliCloud to replace their current Netbook OS (Windows XP or another Linux based OS).
Jolicloud’s UI features large icons (similar to iPhone) and it the OS will support touch screens.
