Native Flickr app for iPhone

Flickr has released a native iPhone application. Previously, Flickr offered an iPhone optimized website and you had to use email for uploading photos. The experience wasn’t great. However, this new Flickr app will make things much better.

The Flickr iPhone app will allow you to:

• Shoot,
  upload and share phtoos & videos (includes privacy options)
• Geo-tag your photos
• Add your photos to a set
• View your photos by set and tag
• View your contact’s photos
• Search photos
• Comment on and favourite photos

Please note that there are other third-party applications that offfers the same functionality. Just do a search for Flickr in the Apps Store. However, I’d say that this app has a more native Flickr feel to it.
