Live Video Streaming With T-Mobile G1

You can upload videos and take pictures with G1, and share via Twitter. How about Live Video Streaming??? That is now possible as well with application called Qik. You can download Qik from their website. Here are some basic instructions I did.

• Register for free Qik account online.
• On your phone go to Settings>Apps>(checkmark Unknown Sources)
• Send your self SMS via Qik website to download app
• Once you receive Qik App link download it and install it.

It’s pretty easy!

I had 2-4 seconds delay on my wifi connection and about 10 seconds on data network but then again I only was live streaming for minute or less.

I wish I knew about Qik developing app for G1 few days ago, so I could live stream fireworks and 30 bands I went to see live here in Iowa, Des Moines.
