TinyUrl Traffic Doubled Since Last Year

Tinyurl known as url redirection service in other words making your url short and tiny. Traffic doubled for TinyUrl since last year and the only reason we found out is because of the Twitter. Most twitter clients such as Seesmic Desktop, Twhirl or Tweetdeck are using TinyUrl as url shortener. But TinyUrl is not the only service that it has been used, lets not forget bit.ly or is.gd  those services since Twitter took off have made some great traffic as well.

According to Tinyurl more than 222 million of urls have been shorten and twitter these day’s is trying to incorporate new way of searching (crawling) , maybe we can use Twitter as we use Google?
