How To Make G1 Autorotate Record Videos and Have Keyboard

You can make your G1 feel and do things like Cupcake with two easy apps which allows you to record videos, auto rotate,? have Keyboard and more.

For the past few months you might have been reading all the good things about the Cupcake update which has numerous features that most of G1 owners liked such as auto rotation, onscreen keyboard, video recording, installing apps on SD card etc.

Well I managed to have all that with two simple applications which work very well. Here is how!

To get the keyboard , installing different G1 themes and auto rotate +more

• Go to app market and search for “aHome.” There are two versions, one is Lite and it’s free,? and there is one you can purchase for $4.99 and it’s totally worth it!

To

record videos (which now finally works)

• Go to app market and search for “video camera” and download Video Recorder/Video Camera app. It’s free and it allows you to record videos, convert them to AVI and play right from your phone.

I tested both applications, aHome has no issues, but Video Recorder does sometimes give you “force close” but it works.? Make sure you don’t have any dotphone.org applications installed,? if you do, uninstall them first, install Video Recorder and restart your phone.

VideoRecorder has bad ratings, and that is because previous versions did not work.
