Going back to the hunting era, when survival was the main concern, women wisely prefer men who are more capable of providing for them. In the present time, men with more money and of higher social and financial status are viewed to have greater capacity of providing for their wives and kids. More so, this status also denotes higher level of intelligence.

3. Men and women love their partners’ sense of humor

Obviously, no one would not enjoy the company of someone

who makes you laugh and have fun. Sense of humor tops the list of what both men and women want out of their partners. However, the same phrase has a different meaning to each of the sexes. Women admire guys with sense of humor. They like the ones who are able to make them laugh. Men, on the other hand, prefer women with sense of humor in the sense that the ladies are able to understand and laugh at the guys’ jokes. This difference can probably be traced back to men’s hidden ego who always desires to be on top of the game.
