New Microsoft Ads: Macs are too expensive!

Microsoft has rolled out a new ad campaign focused on the high cost of Macs. In a TV commercial, a women called Lauren is given a $1000 budget to purchase a 17″ laptop. She goes into the Apple Store and found out that the only notebook she could afford is a 13″ Macbook.? In the end, she settles with a $699 HP notebook from Best Buy.

Also, Microsoft’s new campaign includes web banner ads that have begun appearing on a number of sites including The New York Times.
