This article is on the first page of Google hits when people type
in "iPhone 3.0 release"...

Due to this article alone, and the fact that you have not corrected
it, I will never consider this to be a source of reliable information.

I was running the software it is not really what you would expect for the iPhone and so I downgraded back to 2.2.1

i have some inside news!! apple might be launching a new iphone 3g…. sadly it looks just the same but with better hardware and faster processor. There might even be video My resource (apple tech is all i will mention) has been using 3.0 for sometime now with the video capture on a newer iphone 3g. He does not know though weather or not apple will launch the new 3.0 with video caputre:P

I only got to see the whole copy paste but thats all…

That’s the date they previewed what will be in the 3.0, not the release date of the update. Nice reporting.
