Cubans Are Going Linux

Cubans launched new Linux distribution called “Nova” because they want their country to be less dependent on Microsoft products and USA dominance.

“U.S. security agencies have access to Microsoft codes.”

This scares me either way you look at it.

“I would like to think that in five years our country will have more than 50 percent migrated (to Linux),”

luck with that! But I do wish that happens.

Seriously I am linux user for past 9-11 years now, last night I had to boot into Windows just to use camera with some Adobe crap encoder, guess what? Projector at Twestival.com did not work well with my Laptop. I don’t know what the problem was but it worked fine on MAC PC.

I would like also to see more and more people start using linux , the greater demand is the better support there will be.
