Not sure if its on the RC33 release but should be available soon for G1 users:

"Latitude is currently available in 27 countries, spanning a variety of devices, including most BlackBerry, Windows Mobile 5.0 and Nokia Symbian S60 devices.

Google promised support for iGoogle users, Android-powered devices such as the T-Mobile G1 and Apple's iPhone in the near future."

Google Maps 3.0 for mobile devices is available already. I just installed it on my Nokia E71. It looks good, although I haven't tried the friends list interface (need to add some friends first).
