Cupcake is a development BRANCH that may (will almost definitely) eventually contribute to updates to the Android main branch; but not necessarily for the G1.

At this point with T-Mobile announcing officially that it will have more android &quot;G&quot; series devices this year, I would assume that the G1 has seen it&#039;s glory and T-Mobile will wait for these new devices to have Google include new features - It&#039;s simple price pointing business.</description>
