ClickFraud Sky High! BotNets Are Not The Only Problem

Click Forensics report that 27% of click frauds are done by BotNets and for some reason 
I am very familiar with BotNets since I owned IRC channel back in 1999 but got bored after a while. Anyways back to the topic!
Traffic from botnets was responsible for 27.6 percent of all click fraud traffic in Q3 2008. That?s up from 25.2 percent for Q2 2008.
This is how botnets did the click fraud!
Botnets infect millions of pc’s,? and controller can pretty much do anything. For example back in 2005 when I talked to few hackers people, they said they make about $600-$900 per day just from Botnets.
Yep I asked them how!
It’s simple, you set the homepage to be some spam site and there you go! Ads are clicked by millions of different PC’s. By the way those botnets are now shut down for over a year now, but there is always another way to do it.
What Click Forensics reported today I could of told you same back in 2005 if LiveCrunch existed I just thought people knew.
Today when I was listening and reading few of the “Botnets” headlines they make talk about it like botnets just existed for past few weeks but matter where matter in fact botnets damaged many many companies and even US Millitary.
Anyways I am not proud to talk about BotNets nor would I support an idea to such illegal activities , but if you ever stumbleupon somebody that is into BotNets just make sure you don’t piss them off.

Yes Jason they are automated bots but those can’t really do much harm to PPC . Bots are used most likely to do DOS- Denial of Service, where? botnets that hold few millions of PC’s it’s different
Take botnets as this example: If I talk to you, you can hear me, but if 100 people talk to you at the same time you can’t hear me right? That’s DOS by BN. #Hex
