Compare: Alltop.com and Techmeme.com

Long time ago I build this quick app for my self Tech Livecrunch agreggator because I just wanted to pull few feeds I check on regulary basis. That’s now why you are reading this right?

Well I thought It would be fun to compare two top agreggating services which are just loved among tech bloggers called AllTop and Techmeme.

Alltop -? is more like feed agreggator which show you latest feeds about everything , I mean @Guy Kawasaki really covers a lot of topics , so far I was not able to find topic that is missing!

Techmeme – which is my favorite agreggator does really good job bringing latest tech news. But that’s not all it categorieses related posts together and I think that’s what makes Techmeme so popular.

Despise the age of Alltop , traffic has been good there in less than one year Alltop reached traffic of Techmeme (according to Compare) . To be honest? I hate Compare because it’s not accurate while many people think it does.

Let’s see what Alexa has to say?

Well according to Alexa Techmeme is still leading when it comes to Pageviews.

Please don’t take these numbers as fact’s because Alexa and Compare only shows you portion of what traffic they are really getting.
