Comparing Digg and Twitter Traffic Are You Out of Your Mind?

Let me get this straight? Blogsphere started comparing Twitter and Digg Traffic? umm.. Why? Yes they both are “Social Networks” but the concept is totally different.? That’s like comparing TechCrunch to Xvideos.com (Adult Site) , both site’s plesaure their audience with breaking news it’s just that one audience thinks with head and other audience thinks with “other head”

Sorry for going that deep into topic ,? but it’s just agrevates me when I see some site like Hitwis writing stuff like that. The other day I said on Twitter:

and few minutes later I get this respond

Well he is right it’s just that I would say that sites like Digg and Twitter can be comparable to Oranges and Mandarines since they are both social networks.

Anyways the main thing is that girl Heather should do a bit research, all I know that she was just after few Twitter, Digg Keywords and to create mixed buzz in blogsphere/twittersphere. Well my dear Heather I respect your research but next time please compare Twitter to sites that have same concept of business model, and compare Digg to sites like Mixx

What is your thought on this? Would you compare Digg and Traffic and say it’s realistic to say that Twitter is LIKE Digg or Digg is LIKE Twitter?
