Setup Your Blog Like Arstechnica With Forum

I love Arstechnica and been there member for a while now. Well I would like to show you two ways, how you can have wordpress and forum as commenting system. One way is Free and another way is a bit costly.

First the Free Way:

I will assume you already have Wordpress? or some different blogging platform installed. Now all you have to do is install forum called Simple Machine Forum (Download Here). Once you install SMF get RSS Feeder Mod (here) and install it. Create new Forum just for your

RSS feeds and in Admin Area you can setup RSS Feeds, fill in your information and viola!

Once you post something on your blog, forum rss feeder will create new topic and parse the information. Your registered members on forum will be able to discuss about it more than on comments.

The Costly Way Of having Blog+Forum:
