I'm leaving this comment here because the Feedburner blog is broken, there is no way to contact help or anyone internal at Google/Feedburner, and every link to individuals' blogs from the Feedburner page is defunct (tried to leave a comment on Dick's blog, but that was broken too).

There is really no explanation anywhere about this, so I would think there are other people out there in the situation I'm in, who have no idea why their feeds disappeared.

The lengths of this workaround are comical, and probably good fodder for a post if anyone feels like ranting about this (I'm just trying to fix it).

(Sidenote regarding Feedburner official blog - leaving a comment gives the error: "Quantifier follows nothing in regex; marked by <-- HERE in m/* <-- HERE / at lib/MT/App/Comments.pm line 218.")

I was trying to leave this comment on "Movin' on Up", the ironically named post regarding merging into Google Accounts.

My feed has disappeared from my administrative page. I had already migrated it to my google account, but now it looks like the feedburner team merged my feedburner account of the same name to a google account, given recent announcements. I suspect something went awry because my feedburner account name WAS my google account name already, so despite having moved the feed they did some wonky database stuff.

I'm worried about reclaiming the feed and losing historical data. The feed is still publishing, thankfully, but I can't access it.

Is there a human being I can talk to -- somewhere -- that can help me fix this?

I upgraded my account back in October because I wanted to try out Adsense with feeds. My subscriber numbers dropped by 1/3 and my usage dropped in half. What I miss the most though is I now have none of my podcast stats from before I switched. Pretty frustrating. I was told those stats would be updated after everyone has been switched over. I noticed that date is the end of February 09 so hopefully next week I’ll get some stats back.

Well, since Google acquired FeedBurner in 07, you should mean since they started forcing the change over to Google.

I’m having the same issue. I’ve lost a bunch of subscribers (or at least my reported number is down by about 60%.)

And my url has switched also. My biggest problem is that the original feed url (the one that has most of my subscribers) doesn’t seem to update automatically anymore. I have to ping it manually. (Not that that’s tragic, but it’s certainly a pain.)

Hope they get things straightened out soon….

I’ve been annoyed with Feedburner for months… I have said it many times – I think their failures have created a market opportunity for a new service to compete – just like Clicky taking on Google Analytics

I have my gripes with FeedBurner, more so because I dont understand how they get their tally. On many of my peers blogs, there is a drastic difference each day.

I’m having problems too…. I moved my feedburner feeds to my google account some days ago and since then my counter dropped more than 100 subscribers – from 460 to 330 aprox… So I don’t know what to expect now from them

I’ve not had any problems with Pro but my reported number of readers has dropped by about 60%. I don’t obsess over the number of subscribers I have but would like it to be an accurate figure that is reported.
