How my friend used iList

I thought this was cool story from my friend that used iList social network listing site. I was also involved in this promotion for Chargers vs Raiders tixs. But was to late because they were sold out. Take iList tour and see for your self how powerful such social network can be. (I was the Joe guy)

Like a good little Facebook addict I logged in, excited to see new messages, friend updates, notifications and more. “Four notifications. Oh goody!” I thought as I clicked the link.

The first notification was from my friend Monica. It read, “2 Chargers vs Raiders tixs Section 44, Row 17, Seats 9 and 10 – - http://ilist.com/go/tik.” Next to it was a link that said, “Help Promote.”

Overjoyed to see that Monica was using iList, the site I have been trying to get off the ground the past few months, I clicked “Help Promote” to pass along the information about the tickets to my social networks.

Just

like me, a few more of Monica’s friends promoted the listing too. And a few of my friends saw my promotion and also clicked “Help Promote.”

About 20 minutes while checking my other 3 notifications I got a message from my friend Joe saying the link he received from my promotion took him to a page that said, “Nope, not here.” The tickets has been sold. With just a few people promoting, the listing was exposed to over a thousand people and news flash? that Chargers aren’t even doing well this year.

Here’s a link to take a tour of the site: http://ilist.com/tour
