New Nikon D3X DSLR is Expensive

by Live Crunch on December 1, 2008

This year for Christmas I said I want DSLR camera and should not be more then 1.000 while looking up new DSLR’s found Nikon D3X DSLR which price shocked me! It cost $8.000 I know it has 24MegaPixel but does that really matter for somebody that is pretty much new ? And even professional photografers from many reviews did not like the price a all. Anyways cam is expensive for that money you can get better stuff like for example A900 from Sony cost between $2500 and $3000 I rather spend 3K and buy stuff for A900 worth $5.000

Anyways I am not getting any of those cam’s they cost too much and in about 1 year they will be old and half priced

  • I can even recommend a terrific camera for a better price. Take a look at the Canon EOS 5D Mark II - 21.1-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor with DIGIC 4 Image Processor, a vast ISO Range of 100-6400 (expandable to ISO L: 50, H1: 12800 and H2: 25600), plus EOS technologies like Auto Lighting Optimizer and Peripheral Illumination Correction. It supports Live View shooting, Live View HD videos(shoot is HD), and more. It can shoot up to 3.9 fps, has 9 AF points plus 6 AF assist points, a new 98% coverage viewfinder, a 3.0-inch Clear View LCD (920,000 dots/VGA) and a rugged build.

My first SLR will be the Nikon D90 then I will work my way to a bigger and better camera. I am sure whatever you decide it shall be a good choice! Good luck and enjoy it!
