Twitter Becoming More Competitive Among Mainstream Media

By live crunch at 16 November, 2008, 4:35 am

We saw Don and Rick from CNN twittering all the time even saying few times to go “twitter”. Even our President-Elect. Obama is twittering! And not to say Britney Spears does now as well. So what will this tell you? Twitter is next social network such as MySpace, Facebook and I can see it by end of 2009 Twitter is going to pull a lot of traffic and members.

Even Colbert and Stewart are “Twittering”!

So whats that great about Twitter and not Plurk?

Personal opinion? NONE!

Plurk is still better in any aspect:
On Plurk you can run 1 “plurk” and have multiple people replaying (grouped conversations)
Plurk is allowing you to direct upload pictures and embed videos from YouTube
Personally what I like is the timeline , not much crowded and easy to read!

And yet why is Plurk not that popular as Twitter is? Maybe because of the Mainstream Media which I described in very nice context all about it “Tech Bloggers WTF is Wrong With You?

By the way I loved the video above!
