Find Out How Twitter is Making Money
Do you really think that Twitter is not making ANY money except from funds from investors? That money goes into servers, bandwidth, advertising Twitter and paying employees salary. So how is Twitter making money if they are not advertising on Profiles?
The answer is “Special Accounts” . Corporations like CNN lately is advertising Twitter via Rick Sanchez and Don from CNN by saying things like “Reply to my answer on Twitter.com/RickSanchezCNN”.
Back to Twitter Special Accounts:
So why would such accounts be any different then what Personal Accounts have?
What IF you could copy and paste Google Analytics code and track every single click, keyword, location etc..and gather all the information you need to do some marketing. (ding, ding, ding dinggg ding?!?!)
Maybe to you that information is not valuable but to CNN, W00t and other companies is. Because they can target specific audience and get also feedback.
Do you really think that CNN got all the informations about Election Polls by asking people on their website?
Think Again!
Anyways, I don’t know how much those accounts cost, and if they will be released to public any time soon, but I am sure they are not making money from investors, investors after 1y most likely want something back in return and its probably not the bird poop they want.
I am not convinced on this… Is there any proof on what you write here? Any details or evidence these “twitter special accounts”?
