Open source photo editing software GIMP 2.6 was released 2 days ago and Adobe Photoshop should be afraid of losing bunch of customers switching to GIMP 2.6 . For one it’s FREE! Runs better on Linux boxes and it’s faster. I use GIMP for few years now and this release 2.6 had bunch of surprises for me . To be honest I never liked Adobe Photoshop on my Ubuntu box.
I prefer Gimp 2.6!

I like gimp but to be honest I still preferring Photoshop, it is insurmountable. However, to quick things I prefer to use gimp in order to avoid turning on the vmware….
