Provided a great barometer as to how the world at large was reacting. And although its an American election, its hard to argue that the result doesn't affect most people, American or not, so there is still significant relevancy to those outside the states, like myself. Lastly, the different views these two will make a direct impact on how hard it is for people to "make a dime" in the future.
