iPhone App Developers Scam

Sometimes enough is enough. I mean who in the right mind would buy iPhone App picture of red diamond for $999.99 from App Store. I can see Paris Hilton buying it to show off but thats about it. Found this picture on Digg front page posted by MikeonTv. I just wonder why Apple is approving such iPhone and Ipod Touch Apps? I really don’t blame developers work, I mean they can develop whatever they want. But I don’t see the reason Apple releasing such App to Production, aren’t we enough in deep sh** with the economy ?
