But when I updated my iTunes to 7.7, it worked. And the upgrade went perfectly on my iPod Touch. Try it. You can download the iPod Touch update from torrent sites also. They're available there. I have automatic check for an update and mine says: "Your iPod software is up to date. iTunes will automatically check for an update on 7/16/08." I'll keep pressing that "Check for Update" button every minute! That date is a suggestion.
