Here are few sites I found that are very similar to twitter yet not so popular due to people not sharing news about it. Clone or not clone these two sites below rocks.
If 10 popular people on internet say that Twitter is best microblogg from that 10 people other 1000 people will follow the same stream line. Yet what about others? that don’t get mentioned as much? Yet in my opinion are better services that twitter offers!
Sweetter.Net - it’s sweet micro blogging site that I found very interesting.
Yonkly - very simple, fast yet In my opinion better then twitter.

Thanks for the shout out… I never intended to replace twitter and hope yonkly doesn’t get too popular too fast. There is still a lot to be done to make it competitive to twitter.

Well Im having a ahrd time getting any of these sites to work.. and the worst news is that Twitter keeps going down every ten minutes… Maybe this idea needs to be permanantly retired.
