Was there any particular reason for Microsoft to upgrade their software? I don’t think so…Of course it’s fun to see new features on occasion as we have come a long way from the early 90’s.
Microsoft brands its name on the highest quality of production and they have literally done everything to give the consumer what they want. But why change a perfectly good software for a new one. Windows XP has been working properly and different service packs have came out since, which improved it even more.
Microsoft acknowledged the fact that Vista in its first year did not do so hot even though sales were made. Today Microsoft wants to shut down XP and continue with Vista even though the customers disagree with their theory. Vista is cool at first due to the add-ons, but a person well known to the previous softwares would have to re-learn simple steps because the image has changed drastically.
A head-to-head technology comparison has been made and declares Vista is nothing less then a skinny guy pumped on steroids speaking metaphorically.
