Twitter allows max. 70 requests per hour. (you would have seen that if you looked at the Network settings.  If you use them up hitting refresh, then you won&#039;t be able to send or receive any messages let alone direct messages

&lt;em&gt;Even though my default browser is mozilla firefox twhirl ignores it and opens up everything in Internet Explorer.&lt;/em&gt;
I&#039;d suggest that fx is NOT your default browsewr; I have no problems with profiles, links and # tags opening in the correct browser.</description>
