I went through some of my feeds and for some odd reason I was interested, how come that most of the bloggs I visit on daily basis have not upgraded to wordpress 2.5 yet some of them are stuck with 2.1 or 2.3.3
TechCrunch and Mashable didn’t nor Problogger or BlogHerald
I wonder why?
Hope they won’t stuck with this image forever!

Is there a particular reason the “Big” fellas noted here haven’t migrated to the latest revision? Do they know more than us little people do?
a few ideas as to WHY:
1) they might not be bothered.. but best:
2) they might have A LOT of hacks and customizations which need to be rewritten in order to work - plugins accessing the TABLES without calling API’s have problems, for example.
3) they want to WAIT to see if everyone else is happy / they fear some bugs/vulnerabilities that might (or might not) be introduced with a new version leap.
