Yahoo Employees Layed Off and TechCrunch Visitors Laugh About It

by Live Crunch on January 22, 2008

Couple days ago Yahoo announced to layoff 10-15% of their employees. We are not talking about 100 people or even 1000 people but more for sure.

Yesterday I read post on TechCrunch and was little bit disappointed with people that voted. As of right now 350 visitors voted that yahoo should layoff over 2000 + more employees.

No matter how much you hate Yahoo sometimes, employees are not guilty for performing their daily tasks.

Imagine you get layoff today and you owe $250.000 for the house, have 3 kids, 2 cars and no job.

what a shame. I can’t imagine making fun of anyone losing a job.

No one is really secure with their jobs. It pays to have redundant sources of income in cases like these.
